KENTUCKY TREE PLANTING

Tree Planting Across Kentucky

Kentucky is our home and the focus of Big Tree Planting Co.

We regularly plant throughout Central Kentucky. We also consider larger projects in Louisville, Northern Kentucky, and other parts of the state when the planting scope supports the travel, delivery, and equipment involved.

Tell Us Where the Property Is

Kentucky Is Our Service Area. The Project Still Has to Fit.

A single tree near Lexington and a multi-tree project several hours away are not the same trip.

Central Kentucky is our regular working area. Normal projects may include shade trees, ornamental trees, privacy rows, shrubs, and planting around a home or business.

Farther from Central Kentucky, the project usually needs enough planting work to support the travel, plant delivery, crew, equipment, and follow-up involved.

We do not draw a wide circle on a map and pretend every project fits equally. We look at the property, the planting scope, and what it will take to complete the work correctly.

CENTRAL KENTUCKY

Where We Work Most Often

Lexington, Georgetown, Versailles, and Paris make up our regular Central Kentucky market.

Lexington

Lexington is our primary local market. Projects range from one shade or ornamental tree to arborvitae privacy rows, larger residential planting, commercial properties, and horse farms.

Georgetown

Georgetown projects often involve new homes, open lawns, privacy planting, large shade trees, commercial frontage, and growing neighborhoods. We also completed a large American Red Maple planting on a Georgetown horse farm.

Versailles

Versailles and Woodford County properties often need planting that works with more land. Farms, estates, long drives, entrances, open lawns, and property borders all change the scale of the plan.

Paris

Paris is a strong fit for farm, estate, privacy, large tree, and shrub planting. Our work in the area includes a 113-tree farm installation and several planting areas around a Cane Ridge Road farmhouse.

Larger Projects Elsewhere in Kentucky

We consider projects throughout Kentucky. The farther the property is from our regular routes, the more important the planting scope becomes.

Louisville

Louisville projects are usually the best fit when they involve multiple trees, large trees, a substantial privacy row, commercial planting, or another defined installation scope.

Northern Kentucky

Northern Kentucky projects may include multi-tree privacy rows, HOA or community screening, large trees, commercial planting, and larger residential installations.

If your Kentucky property is not listed, that does not automatically mean it is outside our service area. Send the location and planting details so we can review the fit.

FROM OUR PROJECTS

A 113-Tree Project Outside Paris

A farm property outside Paris needed trees across several parts of the property.

The project included 45 Norway spruce and 68 oak and maple trees. The trees were planted along drives, property edges, and open areas. Irrigation was installed for every tree.

At that scale, the work is not only about digging 113 holes. The plant material, delivery, equipment, layout, crew sequence, and watering plan all need to work together.

That project is a good example of why larger planting scopes can make sense farther along our Kentucky routes.

The Address Is Only Part of the Answer

Two properties in the same city can be completely different planting jobs.

One may have an open driveway and plenty of equipment access. Another may have a narrow gate, soft lawn, overhead lines, or a planting location behind the house.

To help us determine whether the project fits, send:

  • Property address
  • Approximate number of trees or shrubs
  • Photos of the planting area
  • Photos of the driveway, gates, or access route
  • Type of planting
  • Preferred timing

You do not need to have every tree selected. The location, photographs, and desired result are enough to begin.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do you provide tree planting throughout Kentucky?

Yes. Kentucky is our primary service area. Central Kentucky is our regular market, while projects farther away are reviewed based on size, delivery, travel, and installation requirements.

Do you travel to Louisville?

Yes, when the planting scope supports the travel and installation logistics. Multi-tree projects, large trees, privacy rows, commercial planting, and larger residential projects are generally the strongest fits.

Do you serve Northern Kentucky?

Yes. Northern Kentucky projects are considered when they involve a substantial planting scope such as privacy rows, HOA planting, commercial sites, large trees, or multi-tree residential work.

What if my city is not listed?

Send the property location and project details. The six location pages represent our primary markets, but we consider suitable planting projects elsewhere in Kentucky.

Do you work outside Kentucky?

Kentucky is our focus. We selectively consider larger projects outside the state when the planting scope and logistics make sense.
