Project overview
This farm property in Paris, Kentucky called for a large-scale planting plan with evergreen structure, deciduous canopy, heavy root-ball handling, and coordinated field work across the site. The completed installation established tree rows along the drives and across the surrounding acreage.
Location context
The job is in Paris, KY, about 20-30 minutes from Lexington and about 20 minutes from Georgetown. It is a strong example of the Central Kentucky farm and estate planting projects Big Tree Planting Co. is built to handle.
Tree mix and sizing
The planting includes 45 Norway spruce around 26-27 feet tall and 68 deciduous trees, with a mix of oaks and maples. The deciduous trees are 6-7 inch caliper trees, and the root balls range from about 60-80 inches.
Irrigation scope
Irrigation was laid for each of the 113 trees so the new planting has a practical watering plan after installation.
Site logistics
Farm-scale planting requires careful access planning, equipment movement, staged soil work, root-ball handling, layout control, and sequencing so the crew can keep the job moving cleanly.
Completed installation
The final tree-installation views show the scale of the finished layout, with Norway spruce forming evergreen structure and the oak and maple rows defining the drives. Some photos document the planting before the surrounding disturbed soil received its final site restoration.
