ABOUT ORLANDO

Tree Planting Is Still Orlando's Favorite Work

Orlando has run Orlando's Landscaping since 2001. The company completes hundreds of residential landscaping jobs each year, but tree planting has always been the work he enjoys most.

Before starting his own company, Orlando traveled across Kentucky with one of the larger tree planting companies in the region. He managed crews and worked on projects involving tractor-trailer loads of trees.

Big Tree Planting Co. exists so Orlando can focus on that work full time with a crew dedicated specifically to planting trees.

BEFORE HE STARTED HIS OWN COMPANY

He Learned Tree Planting With Full Crews and Full Trailers

A tractor-trailer loaded with trees changes how you think about a planting job.

The trees have to arrive in good condition. The truck needs a place to unload. Equipment needs a workable route across the property. The crew needs to know where each tree belongs and what order the work should follow.

Orlando learned those lessons while managing planting crews and projects across Kentucky.

He did not learn the work from a catalog or an estimating program. He learned it while being responsible for the trees, the crew, and the finished job.

SINCE 2001

More Than Two Decades of Running Crews and Serving Homeowners

Orlando started Orlando's Landscaping in 2001.

Today, the company completes hundreds of residential landscaping jobs each year. Every property is different. The access changes. The soil changes. The customer's priorities change. The crew still has to arrive prepared and leave the property looking finished.

Running that volume of work has given Orlando years of experience estimating projects, organizing crews, solving problems in the field, and remaining responsible for the result.

Big Tree Planting Co. brings that experience into a more specialized kind of work.

WHY BIG TREE PLANTING CO. EXISTS

Tree Planting Needed a Crew of Its Own

Tree planting is different from routine landscape work. The trees can be larger. The root balls are heavier. Delivery and unloading matter. Equipment access can determine what is possible. The planting locations need to be confirmed before trees begin moving across the property.

Big Tree Planting Co. gives that work a dedicated crew and Orlando's full attention.

Orlando runs the tree planting operation himself, full time. It is not a small service handed off between unrelated landscaping jobs. It is the work he knows best and the work he most wants to be doing.

Big Tree Planting Co. is operated by Orlando's Landscaping. The name gives the planting work a clear home, but the experience and responsibility behind it remain Orlando's.

Everyone Needs to Know What Happens Next

Planting a tree is only one part of the job.

Someone has to coordinate the plant material, delivery, equipment, crew, planting locations, cleanup, and initial care. On a larger project, the order of that work matters. A crew cannot discover the plan after the trees have already been unloaded.

The Big Tree Planting Co. crew is organized specifically for planting work. Orlando leads the operation and keeps the tree, property, equipment, and crew working as one project.

That experience matters whether the job involves one large tree beside a home or rows of trees across a farm.

REAL KENTUCKY PROJECTS

One Tree, a Privacy Row, or 113 Trees Across a Farm

The size of the project can change considerably from one property to the next.

In Georgetown, the crew planted a single large red maple beside a home. In Lexington, a wood fence and arborvitae row were planned together to create privacy along a backyard. Near Paris, one farm project involved 113 trees planted along drives, property edges, and open areas.

The equipment and crew size may change. The responsibility to plan and finish the work correctly does not.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Orlando Is Still Personally Involved

When you contact Big Tree Planting Co., you are contacting the planting operation Orlando runs himself.

Send the property address, photographs, and what you want the planting to accomplish. If you already know the type or number of trees, include that information. If you do not, that is fine.

Orlando and his team will review the project, property access, delivery requirements, and planting scope. If the property needs to be visited before an estimate can be prepared, they will tell you.

Big Tree Planting Co. is fully insured. Qualifying installations include a one-year limited plant warranty when the provided watering instructions are followed.
