PROCESS
How the planting work is planned
Project and site fit
We start with the property, project type, site conditions, and desired outcome before recommending plant material.
Stock direction
Material may include shade trees, ornamental trees, evergreens, arborvitae, shrubs, perennials, or garden plants depending on fit.
Delivery and installation path
Once the material direction is clear, the project moves into the right install service and estimate flow.
PROJECT DETAILS
What matters before planting day

Why sourcing matters
The best tree for a property is not always the first tree available. Size, root condition, species, mature height, mature width, sun, drainage, deer pressure, and watering capacity all matter. We match plant material to the site so customers are not guessing from a tag at a nursery.

Shade and ornamental trees
Shade and ornamental trees should be chosen around mature size, site conditions, and the installation goal.

Evergreens and shrubs
Evergreens, arborvitae, and shrubs can support privacy, foundation planting, property borders, and bed refreshes.

SCOPE DECISIONS
What to settle before the estimate
Availability and fit
Plant material should be chosen for the site and project goal, not just current availability. Size, form, root condition, and timing all matter.
Sourcing clarity
A useful sourcing conversation separates species preference, acceptable substitutions, target size, delivery timing, and installation requirements.
Install-ready planning
Nursery selections still need a planting plan: access, spacing, soil conditions, water, mulch, and care expectations after installation.
FAQ
Common Questions
Do you sell trees directly?
We are not a walk-in retail lot. We source trees and shrubs as part of installed planting projects, so plant material is selected, delivered, and planted rather than sold off a shelf.
Do you deliver and plant trees?
Yes. Sourcing is connected to installation — we plan delivery and plant the material correctly instead of dropping it off for someone else to set.
Are your evergreens grown in your own nursery?
Many of our evergreens come from our own nursery stock. For specialty sizes or larger quantities, we also source from trusted regional suppliers.
Can you source large trees?
Yes. We can source larger and specimen trees and coordinate the delivery and installation logistics they require. See our Large Specimen Tree Installation service for the planting side.
Can you help choose the right species?
Yes. We match species to the site — sun, soil, drainage, mature size, deer pressure, and the purpose of the planting — instead of going by whatever is on hand.
What happens if a tree I want is not available?
If a specific tree is not available in the right size or quality, we explain the options: wait for availability, adjust the size, or choose a comparable species that fits the site and goal.
Do you source shrubs too?
Yes. We source shrubs and bed plants for foundation planting, landscape beds, and mixed screens alongside trees and evergreens.
